An alleged thief zapped police officers with their own Taser in an effort to resist arrest in Prospect Lefferts Gardens on Sunday.

Police spotted the suspect — a 25-year-old Manhattan resident wanted in connection with an alleged subway phone snatching — on Nostrand Avenue near Sterling Street at 6:10 p.m. on April 21, and patrolmen moved in to cuff him, according to police.

But the suspect put up a stiff fight, at one point nabbing one of the officer’s stun guns and turning it on him and his colleagues, before making a break for it, cops said.

Despite the electrical attack, police still managed to nab their suspect, charging him with robbery, assault, and reckless endangerment, in addition to the grand larceny in connection with the phone snatching, according to a spokeswoman for the department.
