In a jam

Some jerk ruined the bolt lock on the front door of a 62-year-old woman’s 13th Street apartment three times since December.

The victim first reported the on-going saga of serial lock jamming on April 19, when she discovered a metal chunk lodged into the lock securing her apartment between Seventh and Eighth avenues.

She claims the vandal has struck twice before, once on Dec. 16, and again on Feb. 11, each time destroying her pricey locks, which cost about $150, and the costs are adding up, according to police.

No arrests have been made, and the case has been closed, cops said.

Foul-smelling fiend

Cops have called off the hunt for the stinky scoundrel who nabbed $10 worth of bar soap from a Fourth Avenue dollar store on April 17.

A worker told police that he was inside the store between Bergen Street and St. Marks Place at 6:58 pm when he spotted the rancid reprobate pocket the store’s soap, and then flee past the register.

Break up

Some brute smacked a woman on Flatbush Avenue as retaliation for refusing to give him her number on April 22.

The victim told police she’d recently left a nightclub near Plaza Street at 1:20 am, when the bar crawler slithered up to her and demanded her phone number.

But when the victim refused, he went berserk, slapped her face, and hurled her to the ground, leaving her with injuries across her face, cops said

Choosey beggar

Police have given up the hunt for the disgruntled indigent who threatened a woman outside her Berkley Place home on April 23.

The vagrant approached the victim as she was moving boxes outside her home between Sixth and Seventh avenues at 8:45 am, demanding money and “place to live,” cops said.

When the bewildered victim refused him, the beggar turned nasty and snarled, “better watch it, girl,” according to police.

Graby gardener

Cops have given up looking for the creep who grabbed a woman’s arm inside the Brooklyn Botanic Garden on April 22.

The victim told police she was inside the garden off Washington Avenue at 12:50 pm when the would-be suitor exclaimed, “hi, beautiful lady,” before suddenly grabbing her arm.
