The newest season of reality show “Top Chef” will feature Fort Greene’s Silvia Barban, who cooks at LaRina Pastificio and Vino and Aita. Many other television chefs have opened up spots in Kings County — here are six spots in Brooklyn where you can find their food:
Season Four “Top Chef” contestant Mark Simmon offers tastes New Zealand’s best and weirdest flavors, including wattleseed (a roasted grain) and Pavlova (a meringue dessert) at his Park Slope restaurant Kiwiana.

Carla Hall, the co-host of ABC show “The Chew” and a contestant in fifth and eighth seasons of “Top Chef,” brought her Kentucky hot chicken to Brooklyn earlier this year. She serves her fried birds by the piece or by the plate, in heat levels ranging from the mild “Hoot & Honey” to tear-inducing “Boomshakalaka!”

“Top Chef Boston” contestant Adam Harvey has just launched his Gowanus coffee shop, serving Brooklyn Roasting Company java and Dough donuts. He has plans to expand the space to include a cheese larder, butcher shop, and full-service restaurant serving small plates in the next few months.

This Park Slope chicken shop from Season Three “Top Chef” cook Sara Ngyuen slings chicken wings with an Asian flair from a takeout window. Eaters can choose to gobble down the birds straight or in a sandwich, and select from sides such as potato salad, corn on the cob, or Chinese sausage.

Two-season “Top Chef” contestant Dale Talde’s eponymous restaurant in Park Slope blends together East and West, with dishes like pretzel pork and chive dumplings and crispy oyster bacon pad thai.

Food Network personality Anne Burrell, who guides hapless chefs on the show “Worst Cooks in America” is teaming up with a pro — Manhattan restaurateur Phil Casaceli — to open an Italian-Mediterranean eatery on Smith Street, expected to open soon. Patrons will be able to enjoy roasted cauliflower steak with bacon and brined pork chops while scoping out the open kitchen and the metallic orange wallpaper.
