Dead teen pulled from Prospect Park Lake

The body of a 19-year-old man washed up in Prospect Park Lake on Wednesday, according to a police report.

A passerby spotted the young man apparently unconscious in the lake near Wellhouse and West drive at around 1:20 pm, and police then arrived and pulled the body from the water, where paramedics declared him dead at the scene, cops said.

The body had no apparent injuries and has been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office, according to police.

The man’s identity is being withheld until his family can be notified, cops said.
