Our shutterbug headed out to Coney Island and Brooklyn Bridge Park for some very serious photojournalism on Wednesday, capturing Brooklynites cooling off the sweltering heat.

Come to think of it, these photos all seem to have something in common, but we can’t quite put our fingers on it…
