Police are asking for the public’s help finding the two men they say stole thousands of dollars worth of cash and electronics from a home in Sheepshead Bay on Jan. 12.

Authorities say the men broke into an apartment on E. 12th Street and Avenue U at 12:14 pm. Officials say the duo kicked in the victim’s door and stole a laptop, a watch, and $3,000 from inside. Police said one of the suspects is in his 50s and the other is in his 30s.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–TIPS. The public can also submit tips anonymously by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637, then entering “TIP577.”
