A gunman fatally shot a teen in the head, and wounded another Downtown on Monday evening, police said.

Authorities say the shooter opened fire on Flatbush Avenue Extension near DeKalb Avenue at around 6 pm, hitting 16-year-old Armani Hankins in the head and an 18-year-old in the ankle.

Paramedics took the Hankins to nearby Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

Emergency responders took the second victim to Methodist Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition, according to a report.

Police have not yet made any arrests.
