Cops are looking for a guy who they say tried to rape a woman on a Bushwick street in the early morning hours of Sept. 6.

The fiend grabbed the 26-year-old victim from behind as she was walking near the corner of Evergreen Avenue and Grove Street at around 1 am, authorities said.

The lowlife then forced the her to the ground and tried to sexually assault her, but she resisted and the attacker ran off, according to a report.

Police released a sketch of the suspect, who is described as wearing a red shirt at the time of the attack.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers’ website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.crom or by texting their tips to 274637, then entering TIP577.
