Cops seek Gravesend liquor store robber

Police are asking for the public’s help finding the gun-wielding man who robbed a liquor store in Gravesend on March 27.

Authorities say the man pulled a gun on the store employee at the Kings Highway shop near E. 2nd Street at 8:05 pm. Cops say the man stole $1,000 from the store’s cash register then fled.

The suspect was wearing dark clothing, a hat, and sunglasses during the robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto or by texting tips to 274637 then entering “TIP577.” All calls are strictly confidential.
