The 60th Precinct gave 70 Thanksgiving turkeys and boxes of sides to local families at the command’s Coney Island station house on Nov. 24.

Officers paid for the grub out of their own pockets, according to Capt. Winston Faison, who organized the drive. The precinct partnered with local community groups to identify families in need, he said. Also pictured are community affairs officers and commanding officer Deputy Inspector James Rooney.
