Police are looking for a guy who they say robbed a senior in Midwood on Sept. 17.

Cops say the tough followed a 73-year-old man into an apartment building on E. 13th Street between Avenues O and P at around noon, then entered the elevator with him. When the victim got off at the fourth floor, the goon punched him in the face and stole his wallet, cops said.

The oldster suffered a laceration to his head and was taken to a hospital for treatment, officers stated.

The authorities released a photograph of the mugger taken by the elevator’s security camera and asked for the public’s help in identifying and locating him.

The NYPD asks those with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477, go to www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text-message tips to 274637 and enter “TIP577.”
