Police are looking for men in connection with two burglaries in Greenpoint last month.
The first break-in took place at 12:30 pm on July 19, when the suspect pushed the air conditioner through the window of a first-floor apartment and climbed through, according to police. He proceeded to take a MacBook Pro computer and cash, then left through the front door, cops said.
The second burglary happened on July 24 at 3:30 am, officers stated. The guy snaked his way in through the ground-floor window of an abode near Diamond and Newell streets. He took two laptops and two cellphones, and went on to make a purchase using an app on one of the cellphones while at a bodega on Myrtle Avenue between Steuben Street and Emerson Place, per a report.
