Reasonable discourse

BunnynSunny from Clinton Hill says:
I don't like Happy Beers! I want something more serious to my ale.

John Wasserman from Prospect Heights says:
There are a lot of people who don't know this, but the reason that this place is called "The Other Half" is mainly because of the deer on the wall, in which our Bartoonist is observing.
As legend has it, the "other half" of this deer is sticking out on the other side of the wall (inside the brewery). Rumor has it that this deer is still alive, and enjoys being fed craft beer from time to time, which is why he has a smile on his face in this photograph.
Of course, I have not been in here yet, so this is strictly the opinion of one man: John Wasserman.
Thanks for reading.

BunnynSunny from Clinton Hill says:

That's barbaric. Does that mean his other half urinates on the ale in the Brewery???

Mike from Williamsburg says:
I had been waiting for John Wasserman to explain this photograph.

John Wasserman from Prospect Heights says:
To both Bunny and Sunny,
Well I've never been back there, but unless this deer has the longest legs ever, I can only assume there is a tank that he is standing on in which the urine flows into, protecting the whole brewing process from potential contamination.

In first panel, Carroll Gardens is misspelled.

BunnynSunny from Clinton Hill says:

Good catch.. 2 points. The artist needs to check his panels much more carefully. As for the urination into the tank, where doe the employees empty this massive amount of urination each day? Hopefully not into the sewers out front.

Kang from Bed-Stuy says:
My favorite brewery in NYC. I'm a hardcore hop head, so yeah I love this place.
