69th Precinct

A 17-year-old was arrested for beating a man — with a block of ice — and robbing him on Foster Avenue on Feb. 13, taking his iPhone, Blackberry, and cash.

The victim told police that he was between Rockaway Parkway and E. 98th Street at 6:40 pm when the suspect and three others dragged him into an alley and beat him unconcious with the chunk of frozen water before stealing his iPhone, BlackBerry, and cash.

Cinder block parking

A 22-year-old man was arrested for stealing a woman’s car on E. 101st Street on Feb. 25 — when cops reportedly found it resting on cinder blocks in the suspect’s backyard.

The victim told police that she left her car between Avenue N and Seaview Avenue at 6 am, and returned to find an empty spot. A witness later reported seeing the victim’s car, sans tires, resting on blocks in the suspect’s backyard, cops said.
