Knife guy

A 33-year-old man was arrested for allegedly threatening another man at knife-point on E. 80th Street on Feb. 2.

The victim told police that he was between Glenwood Road and Flatlands Avenue at 6:13 pm, when the suspect pulled a knife on him and uttered the threat. “I will f--- you up,” the suspect allegedly snarled.

Drunk and driving

A 52-year-old man was arrested for allegedly driving drunk and colliding with another car on Glenwood Road on Feb. 2.

The arresting officer reported that he was near E. 105th Street at 4:20 am, when he came upon the suspect exiting his 2001 Ford Windstar, which he’d managed to fold around a parked sports utility vehicle. The officer said he was able to determine that the suspect was intoxicated, due the alcoholic miasma he exhaled, along with his unsteady gait, slurred speech, and other telltale signs of drunkenness, according to police.
