Punched for phone

A man was arrested for allegedly beating and robbing a woman of her phone on E. 99th Street on Sept. 13.

The victim told police that she was between Avenues M and N at 4:50 pm when the suspect began punching her repeatedly in the face, before grabbing her cellphone and fleeing.

Camera crook

A man was arrested for stealing cameras from a Remsen Avenue store on Oct. 13

A store detective told police that he was working at the retailer between Avenue D and Ditmas Avenue at 7:13 pm when he spotted the suspect taking various items, including three cameras, before attempting to saunter out without paying.

The detective claims that he was able to catch up the suspect, who he found in possession of the store’s property, cops said.
