Reasonable discourse

Swampyankee from Ruined Brooklyn says:
Hey Ty, I thought you said $10 buys 32 oz of beer at the hipster bars? Doesn't get much more hipster than this place and it sure looks like $10 buys a hell of a lot less than 32oz Proven wrong again Ty. So what do you get for the jacked hipster prices? A guy with a giant hole in his ear, beardo, NY baseball cap and Brooklyn shirt to show how authentic and from Brooklyn he really is.

ty from pps says:
You're a friggin' idiot Swampy.... Yeah, you "proved me wrong."

This bar seems to specialize is tiny batch beers. Ya know, how small batch whiskey is more expensive than Jim Beam. And a decent $25 bottle of wine is more expensive than a box of Franzia.

In short, you're a friggin' idiot. But thanks for playing.

Swampyankee from Ruined Brooklyn says:
Educate me Ty. Even you can read a cartoon. Show me where it says "tiny batch". Is that next to all the draft taps, the 18 growler taps or the hundreds of bottled beers?

ty from pps says:
"Brooklyn's latest CRAFT BEER outpost..." [emphasis added]

From their website (linked above), "a place where you can find a wide selection of craft beers and ciders"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microbrewery#Craft_beer

I'm not sure what your point about growlers, bottles and taps are.... You know that beer is stored in containers that hold liquid, right? Or did you think "small batch" means a cup full?

Again, you're a friggin' idiot.

ty from pps says:
By the way... look the cartoon yourself. 16 oz - $6-$10. Umm, $10-$12 for 32 oz is EXACTLY what I said.
Again, you're a friggin' idiot.

ty from pps says:
Oh, that might have been confusing for your simply brain. You can get a 16 oz beer there for $6. I said most bar you can get a decent (non-p*ss yellow) beer for $5 or $6. This place does not seem to be an exception.

You know how a restaurant has some nice wines on the menu for $10 a glass? But they *also* have wines that are $15 a glass or maybe even $120 a bottle? Yeah, that's how this place seems to be too, Swampy. It's called variety.

bkmanhatposeur from brokeland says:
I think swamp Yankee is too scared to patronize these places cause he would be intimidated by the beards & Meghans.

T-Bone from DoBro says:
What Swampy should do is stay out of bars until they fix that broken 911 system.

John Wasserman from Windsor Terrace says:
Gentlemen, please. Is there reason for this name calling and argument? This is strictly a CARTOON. I hate to be the one to point this out, but it’s not REAL LIFE. Pardon the interruption. John Wasserman.

Alright, you two. Why don't you take it outside?

Is that possible? How?

Bendrix says:
Watch out, hipsters, aka anyone under the age of 40, there are some angry Baby Boomers jealously watching everything you do so they can whine about it on the Internet. "Hipsters stole my mojo!" "My generation invented everything cool and these HIPSTERS are trying to get credit for it." Nothing worse than the sound of a resentful 50-year old crying about how much cooler he is than everyone younger than him.
