O.M.G., Louise Edelman celebrated her 105th b-day on Aug. 13 and Standing O was there. The uber centenarian has been featured in Standing O for the past two years, and let me tell you, she is one heck of a fan. She has been living in Scheuer House since 1992 and never fails to read our column, and without specs, too!

Our roving photog Steve Solomonson snapped the festivities at her recent fete with balloons, gifts, a teddy bear, and one big cake and tells Standing O “She’s still reading us cover to cover.” The once prima ballerina stays young at heart and maintains she really doesn’t know the secret with her longevity, but she is truly grateful to have been blessed with the time. As she has said in the past, “You know, I just live.”

Old-time friend Judd Fischler was with her once again to celebrate the happy day and told Standing O, “I am continually inspired by her.” So is Standing O.

Standing O extends last year’s wish for Louise, “Here’s to another 100 birthdays, we still need all the fans we can get.”
