When did “coming attractions” become “trailers”? Coming soon to a theatre near you and, pretty soon to your TV set, trailers of the flicks now in the works, about the life of Hillary Clinton.
The CNN film division will be shooting a documentary about the life of Hillary Clinton. It will be shown in theatres in 2014 and then will promote her run for the presidency by showing it on the small screen many times during the campaign.
The Temple Hill Entertainment Company is developing the screenplay “Rodham,” a story about the former first lady’s climb to her many successes. The story begins with the dramatization of her early career when she was a young attorney with the House Judiciary Committee. Where it will end has not yet been written. It will probably leave you with a question mark.
Meanwhile, NBC has announced plans to air a four-hour miniseries about the former first lady, Senator and U.S. Secretary of State entitled “Hillary,” which, the network says, will track Clinton’s life as a wife, mother, politician, and cabinet member starting in 1998.
Way back in the middle of the 19th century, the Swiss philosopher Henry-Frederick Amiel wrote the following:
“Truth is the secret of eloquence and of virtue, the basis of moral authority. It is the highest summit of art and life.”
The operative word here is “truth.” My Second College Edition of the American Heritage Dictionary informs us that “truth” is defined as 1) Conformity to fact or actuality, and 2) A statement proven to be or accepted as fact.
Hey you guys over at CNN, NBC, and Temple Hill, I really hope and pray that you all tell the truth about Mrs. Clinton because she hardly ever did.
There have been volumes written about Hillary the liar. There’s a book titled, “I Have Always Been A Yankee Fan.” On the cover Hillary is seen wearing a Cub’s cap. The book is filled with one after another after another of her lies.
Her lie machine went on to say that while visiting troops in Bosnia she fled for cover from sniper fire. CBS News was there with her and the tape shows nothing of the sort. Liar!
The following is a quote from a column written during Bill Clinton’s administration by William Safire and published in, of all places, the left-leaning New York Times:
“Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady — a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation is a congenital liar.”
