Reasonable discourse

SwampYanee from ruined Brooklyn says:
"locals" hang out on the porch? "locals"? They might be people that live in the zip code but those are not locals. Those are transplants. Not a single person in that cartoon was born in that zip code.

Joe from Bk says:
@SwampYanee honestly do we still have to listen to Bklyn natives cry about how things are changing? If there is anyone to blame it is the Bklyn natives, because you created the circumstance in which all this change is taking place. Just because the Neighborhood sat back and watched and accepted a decaying neighborhood, doesn't mean you need to hate those who decided to propagate change.

In spite of you feelings, you still benefit everyday for the efforts of these transplants.

see you around the 'nabe...

Confused face from Whites only? says:
Were there really only white people in the bar st the time of the cartoonist's visit? Seems unlikely. Maybe he should have stayed home and practiced drawing brown people.

Very creative bartoomist. Great new addition to beautiful Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Fan of Fun from Flatbush says:
I think the artist did not fill in the color of the people to keep it from being about ethnicity, and perhaps you are filling in those colors. This is a great place to have good drinks from bartenders and owners who are genuine, enjoy listening to music, and relax in the summer weather outdoors. I think the artist accurately captured another fun night at Bed-vyne Brews.

Turn it Down from Bed-Stuy says:
The music is not so great if you are live on Putnam Ave and is attempting to get some sleep. Subwoofer travels all the way up the block. A semi-outdoor establishment in a residental neighbourhood is ridiculous. The hours are also misleading- it is now 2:26 and the music is still booming.
