The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says it has no plans to offer a permanent F express train to Brooklyn commuters — so enjoy this weekend’s service interruption. It’s the closest you’re going to get to a speedy ride on the orange bullet.

All changes are from Saturday, Jan. 19 at 12:01 am to Monday, Jan. 21 at 5 am unless otherwise noted:

3: No trains between Franklin Avenue and New Lots Avenue from 11:30 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday. Take the shuttle.

4: No trains between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and New Lots Avenue from 11:30 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday. Take to the 2 or the 3 train to Franklin Avenue for a shuttle.

5: Service is suspended from 3:45 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday. Take the 2 or the 4.

D: Coney Island-bound trains run local from DeKalb Avenue to 36th Street.

F: Queens-bound trains run express from Church Avenue to Jay Street-Metrotech from 11:45 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday.

G: No trains between Church Avenue and Hoyt-Schermerhorn streets, from 11:45 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday.

N: Coney Island-bound trains run local from DeKalb Avenue to 59th Street.

diehipster from no hipsters allowed says:
F running express from Church to Jay St? I would ride simply to press my bare ass against the window with HaHa written on each cheek as it would zoom past 7th, Carroll and Bergen stations.

ty from pps says:
Express means it's not stopping... it's doesn't mean it's going fast. In fact, it will probably be going even slower than if it was running normally. The change is for construction/repairs, not just for fun.

Transplant from Here to stay says:
If DieHipster had knowledge like a "Real New Yorker" he would know that the F express tracks run through the lower abandoned platform at Bergen St. and at a grade through most of Carroll. I guess his ass-message is mainly for the rats.

diehipster from I love where I live says:
Look at the two ultra-literal, ultra-liberal nasally yups trying to teach a real Brooklynite about Brooklyn. Kale and almond milk anyone?

THE POWER OF DIEHIPSTER COMPELS YOU!

buh bye mooks from ps says:
Transplant, to the diehipster type trolls here, hipster = any young white male who doesn't live with his grandma in her rent-stabilized apartment and dress like a Yankees bat boy. Yuppie = someone who works for a living rather than sitting on his stoop all day selling drugs to his neighbors.

scott from park slope says:
I think ty and transplant have unmasked diehipster. Bet he's a hipster, posing as an anti-hipster for the sake of irony. Real men aren't afraid of hipsters nor do they give a crap where they live or what they do.

cmcf from windsor terrace says:
7th Ave is actually an express stop... it stops at at Church, 7th Ave and Jay -- skips 4th-9th (major transfer point) for reasons unknown to me
