Now this happening: Guns N’ Roses, the king of 1980s metal, is playing a bowling alley.

Well, not just any bowling alley.

In an eyebrow-raising turn of events, Guns N’ Roses announced Tuesday that it will play a show at the Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday night.

The bar and alley at the corner of Wythe Avenue and N. 12th Street announced the show and began selling tickets on Tuesday afternoon. According to the venue’s site, the band will go on at 11 pm, right after a DJ set by Questlove. Tickets are $150.

The show will be a warm up for Guns N’ Roses’ headlining appearance at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival on Randall’s Island on Saturday.

Guns N’ Roses hit it big in the late 1980s at the tail end of the so-called hair metal phenomenon. Led by singer W. Axl Rose and guitarist Slash, the group was the darlings of critics who saw its music as artistically light years ahead of the likes of Poison, Motley Crue, and, much later on, Nickelback.

The band’s debut album, “Appetite for Destruction,” sold more than 35 million copies.

Most of the members of the group left it by the mid-1990s, and Rose didn’t show up when it was inducted into the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

But Rose will be the only member of the original lineup at the bowling alley show.

Axl is Guns n Roses..........mor thn any of the others. No GNR fan is saying that but fair weather fans who don't care about thir music anyway. Any real fan knows it ain't a show unless Axl starts it "Do you know where the F you are". That top hat Slash is just a musician who is replaceable. Axl is not replaceable.
