Most fowl

Police arrested a 29-year-old woman who they said stole chicken from an Avenue M grocery store on May 30 — slipping the frozen poultry into her purse.

An employee told police that he was inside the store between E. 15th and E. 16th streets at around 9:30 am when he saw the woman slip a pack of chicken into her handbag and leave the store without paying for it.

Cortelyou robbery

A 19-year-old man was arrested for stealing a woman’s cellphone, keys, and wallet right out of her hands on Cortelyou Road on May 29.

The victim told police that she was near E. 18th Street at 10:44 pm when the suspect grabbed her stuff and fled.

Smacked

A 29-year-old woman was arrested for attacking another woman with a chair on Flatbush Avenue on way back on Aug. 14, 2010.

The victim told police that she was between Linden Boulevard and Martense Street at 11 pm that day when the woman hit her in the head with a chair.
