Two people were injured in a car accident at the corner of Avenue L and E. Ninth Street on Aug. 10.

Witnesses said that a Toyota Camry traveling east bound on Avenue L veered away from a minivan making a left turn onto E. Ninth Street — but ended up slamming into the back of a row of parked cars. Each parked car lurched forward upon impact, damaging the car in front of it, officials said.

The driver, who is in his 30s, and a man who was sitting in parked minivan in the middle of the Domino affect — were both taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Police did not charge any drivers with a crime by late Wednesday.
