Crosscutters 5
Cyclones 1

Aug. 4 at MCU Park

The Cyclones managed just three hits against their Pennsylvania rivals, losing in ignoble fashion.

The ’Cutters got everything they needed in a disastrous third inning for starter Eduardo Aldama. After getting the first out, he gave up — in order — a doubles, a singles, another single, a triple and a two-run dinger.

That’s five runs.

The Clones got one run back on Xorge Carrillo’s RBI single in the fifth, but that was all she (and we) wrote.

The Cyclones are home against the hated Staten Island Yankees at MCU Park [1904 Surf Ave. at W. 17th Street in Coney Island, (718) 449-8497] on Saturday night at 6 pm. For info, visit
