Lake Monsters 12
Cyclones 1

July 30 at Vermont

Shake this one off and move on.

Usually reliable starter Eduardo Aldama didn’t even make it to the fourth inning, giving up five runs in the first three frames. And the bullpen wasn’t much better, with all three relievers getting burned by himself or the two Cyclone errors.

The only offensive highlight for the Cyclones was Richard Lucas’s sixth-inning solo shot, his fifth homer of the year.

The Cyclones return home to MCU Park [1904 Surf Ave. at W. 17th Street in Coney Island, (718) 449-8497] on Aug. 2 at 7 pm. For info, visit www.brooklyncyclones.com.
