Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College closes out its Target FamilyTime series for this season with Tap Kids, April 25 at 2 p.m.

Eight of the nation’s most talented young tap dancers take to the stage in this rousing, joyous celebration of American youth cultureCreated in 2002 by choreographer Lisa Hopkins and composer Philip Stern, the show has played in more than 30 states as well as touring internationally to Mexico and the Netherlands.

Hip, contemporary and uplifting, this electrifying performance takes tap to dizzying new heights of passion and precision.

The show is recommended for ages six and up; tickets are $6.
