Don’t miss our updates:

DIY fashion re-boot starts with an introduction to fashion theory with examples that will inspire participants to actualize their own ideas using the materials that they bring to the workshop. Design and/or sewing experience is not necessary to participate. Assistants with sewing machines will be present.

Participants are asked to bring a bag of their clothes that they are willing to de-construct, with scissors, pins and/or needle and thread. Participants will discover renewed interest in once-favorite clothing items and gain a fresh approach to the ecology of design.

A.I.R. Gallery is at 111 Front Street, suite #228, in the DUMBO section of Brooklyn. For more, call 212-255-6651 or visit
