Sunday School students moved the crowd to a hush when they took to the stage at Bethlehem Lutheran Church to perform the story of Christmas.

The bright-eyed bunch used their own sweet twist, including a costumed cast and traditional music, to portray the time-honored tale of Christ’s birth — a mesmerizing gripper for world generations through the millennia.

The production, complete with an assortment of biblical staples, was part of a Christmas pageant at the Bay Ridge school on Fourth Avenue, off Ovington Avenue.
