Random attack

Two crooks attacked and choked a man, then stole his stuff, on Richardson Street on Dec. 29.

The 32-year-old man told police that he was headed home when the two ran up to him at about 8:30 pm at the corner of Monitor Street, then tackled him and punched him in the face until he went unconscious.

The jerks made off with his iPod, cell phone and credit cards.

A 20-year-old man went berserk and attacked a man with a pool cue inside Risque Billiards on McGuinness Boulevard on Jan. 3 — but the assailant was later collared.

The billiard ballers were having a verbal dispute when one man poked the other in the eye with the cue. The fight escalated and spilled onto the sidewalk between Greenpoint Avenue and Calyer Street. Police arrested the more brutal of the two men at the scene.
