New York Times best-selling author Jane O’Connor, author of the “Fancy Nancy” series and more than 30 books for children, visited the students at Visitation Academy.

After the children sat and listened to O’Connor read her fanciest new story yet, “Fancy Nancy & The Splendiferous Christmas,” she answered all their questions in an intimate classroom setting.

The students enjoyed the presentation, made possible by The Book Mark Shoppe, Third Avenue and 84th Street, compliments of Christine Freglette, and can’t wait for her next book.

Visitation Academy is located at 8902 Ridge Boulevard in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn.

O’Connor lives with her family in New York City.
