A tree glows in Shore Road Garden.

Neighbors teamed up to spread the spirit of the season by illuminating a towering timber at the emerald empire, Shore Road and 90th Street, where a Yuletide revel united mom, dad and the kids with like-minded merrymakers for a festive outdoor program of Christmas cheer, complete with holiday refreshments.

Visitors enjoyed a merry mingle with Kris Kringle and a sweet, seasonal serenade from the band and chorus of Xaverian High School, 7100 Shore Road.
