No boom, all bust

Brooklyn is apparently home to a building implosion: nearly half of the 515 construction projects halted throughout the city are located in the borough.

According to Crain’s, the New York Building Congress said that 46 percent of the stalled projects can be found in Brooklyn. We did the math: that’s 237 homes, condo projects, what have you.

About 30 percent of the projects %u2013 or 71 of the structures %u2013 can be found in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, according to the report.
