Whatta nerve-jangler!

The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) morphed into a marine house of horrors, complete with little mermaids, cute clownfish and scary sharks, drawing mom, dad and the kids for the eighth annual BAMboo! Halloween fright-fest.

The aquatic-themed outdoor extravaganza, “BAM Under the Sea,” featured a boo-erific cornucopia of crowd-pleasing spectacles and activities for the whole family, held in front of the BAM Peter Jay Sharp Building, 30 Lafayette Avenue.

Street performers pressed flesh with entertainers while the younger set defied gravity on an oceanic moon bounce.

Arts and crafts, storytelling and, of course, plenty of treats and a costume contest capped the festive frolic sponsored by Target.
