Hundreds of men, women and families from Bay Ridge and around Brooklyn crowded into Amalgamated Bank’s Bay Ridge branch at 426 86th Street to take a shot at “Breaking the Bank” and winning $100,000.

The first person to enter the correct five-number code won all the money, but the funds stayed with Amalgamated. Lucky guests did take home tickets to a Broadway show and a New York Knicks game as well as Apple iPod players and basketballs signed by New York sports legend John Starks.
