A 34-year-old Flatlands woman was arrested on assault charges Thursday after she allegedly attacked another woman with the help of her old friend Joe %u2013 as in “cup of.”

Police said that Seetamat Nagassar was arguing with the victim, described by police as an acquaintance, at an address on Flatbush Avenue near Avenue J at 7:50 a.m. on October 2 when she allegedly threw her coffee into the other woman’s face.

The woman suffered some pain and numbness, but was not burned, officials said.

Responding officers charged Nagassar with assault in the third degree, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and harassment.
