Registration for the 2009 season at Inner City Sports Little League will be held January 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Long Island University, 1 University Plaza (corner of Flatbush and DeKalb, across from Junior’s Restaurant).

Children ages four to 16 (as of April 30, 2009), who live within the Inner City Sports Little League boundaries of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Fort Greene, Crown Heights, Clinton Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, Prospect Heights, Bushwick, and portions of Flatbush, East New York, and Brownsville, are eligible to enroll to play baseball.

Registration is required even if the child played previously. At least one parent or legal guardian must be present, with two proofs of residence, and an original or state-certified copy of the child’s birth certificate.

Kids can also participate in the kickoff winter baseball clinic. Children wishing to participate should come dressed in sweats and sneakers. Returning players are encouraged to wear their team jerseys.
