To The Editor:

Working people should not have to fund the MTA’s mismanagement.

There is a lot of waste in the MTA and this should be brought under control instead of burdening hard-working New Yorkers. A fare hike should not be considered during a financial crisis.

Many people are out of work and those working are finding it hard to make ends meet. The MTA needs to become accountable for their actions.

No fare hike, please!
