Williamsport 10
Cyclones 4

Tuesday, July 14, at Keyspan Park

The Cyclone skid continues.

Yes, the Clones got on the board in the first inning, scoring two on doubles by Luis Rivera and Doc Doyle. And another run came in during the second inning on John Servidio’s RBI single.

But the hitting machine ran out of gas, leaving starter Darrin Gorski to fend for himself. He didn’t do so well, giving up five runs in his five innings. Reliever Wes Wrenn was little better, giving up three runs in two innings.

The win cut the Cyclones’ lead to just 3-1/2 games.
