The end of the school year means parties — and awards.

Last week, School District 20’s Community Education Council (CEC) honored the hardworking school aides, Parent-Teacher Associations (PTA) and Parent-Associations (PA) serving public schools in Bay Ridge, Fort Hamilton, Borough Park and part of Bensonhurst.

Laurie Windsor, president of the CEC, said the parents “do so much for our school.”

“We don’t take them for granted because without them our schools would be in trouble,” she continued.
