State Senator Martin J. Golden will host a rally to “Support Our Troops,” June 14 in Marine Park at 2 p.m. (enter at Fillmore Avenue and Marine Parkway).

The rally will feature patriotic musical performances and speeches, the distribution of small American flags, and “Support Our Troops” posters and lawn signs.

“It is important that we gather as a community in Brooklyn to show our support for the brave men and women of our armed forces fighting to defend our freedoms,” said Golden, “The sights and sounds of the the anti−war sentiment so vocal in America is demoralizing to our troops.

“As we do each year, I invite those who support our troops to join me in standing up for these brave men and women fighting overseas to defend our freedom. Let’s be many together as we wave our flag and send a message of support and appreciation.”
