State Senator Marty Golden rose to the call by delivering a red, white and blue salute to local war heroes by honoring them with a pre‚ąíMemorial Day awards breakfast at Bay Ridge Manor, 476 76th Street.

The distinguished group shared the spotlight with local uniformed workers, who were also hailed for their community work.

Golden is a member of the State Senate Committee on Homeland Security, Military and Veteran Affairs.
