Among the recipients were Elise Hinkson, 50 years; Mildred Stober, 40 years; Angelina Chionchio, and Anne Le Blanc, 35 years; Margherita Clemento, Caroline Moore, Marion Thomasen, and Frances Marciano, 30 years; and Maria Barnas, and Theresa Fazzolari, 15 years.

Margherita Clemento presented Women of the Year awards to Janet Gounis and Louise Hidar for their outstanding community service, and 2009 scholarship awards were presented by Caryn Isaacs to Danielle Lombardi and Grace Simmons.

Among those on hand to congratulate the group were Assembly Member Janele Hyer−Spencer, and state Senators Diane Savino and Marty Golden.
