Brooklyn Heights resident Adrienne Joi Rolle will graduate from the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point, May 23.

Rolle, who has been granted the rare opportunity to cross−branch, will be commissioned as an officer into the United States Navy, and the rank of ensign.

During her four years at West Point, which she was commissioned to by Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, Rolle majored in Engineering Management, and also spent four years on the sailing team, and as a ski instructor.

Rolle has studied in Tunisia, spent a semester in Paris, worked in Chad and South Korea, and also traveled to Vietnam and South Korea with a team of good−will ambassadors.
