Michelle (Milk) Peebles had 17 points and 12 rebounds and Lateefah Salters had 17 points to lead the Boys & Girls girls’ basketball team to a win against Beach Channel on Friday afternoon in Bedford-Stuyvesant in PSAL AA crossover action.

Folshade Frazier had 13 points and five assists for the Kangaroos (4-0 Brooklyn AA Group 2), who only had four league wins all of last season. Beach Channel is 0-3 in Queens AA.

PSAL CLASS A

Long Island City 50, Campus Magnet 23: Kiara Atkins had 12 points and Sana Hafeez had 11 for LIC (4-1 Queens A). Campus Magnet is 1-4.

PSAL CLASS B

Urban Assembly 36, George Westinghouse 35: Sonet Anderson and Jessica Robbins each had 12 points to lead Urban Assembly (2-2 Brooklyn B North). George Westinghouse is 2-2.

SSLJR 48, Brooklyn College Academy 12: Brittany Harris had 17 points and Alyssa Duff and Brooke Harris had 14 apiece for Secondary School of Law, Journalism and Research (4-0 Brooklyn B North). Brooklyn College Academy is 1-3.
