Trick o’ treaters mixed politics with pleasure when they put on the dog and cavorted with other fanciful critters during “The First Makin’ History Costume Party Bash” at the Old Stone House.

The seasonal frolic had visitors making merry during a fundraising celebration, honoring President-Elect Barack Obama.

Proceeds will go to benefit the Old Stone House, 3rd Street, between 4th and 5th avenues, which operates as a historic interpretive center dedicated to its crucial role in the American Revolution.
