Grassroots goblins over at the North Flatbush Avenue Business Improvement District swapped their civvies for Halloween finery and feted neighborhood youngsters with an afternoon of spine-tingling chills and thrills at the Brooklyn Bears Community Garden.

The howl-fest had mom, dad and the kids hobnobbing with an assortment of phantastic phantoms and other curious critters to mark the calendar’s most boo-erific day at the outdoor playpen, Pacific Street and Flatbush Avenue.

Thrill seekers bobbed for apples, decorated pumpkins and trick o’ treat bags and hunted for treasure.
