A magic show vied for attention with a pumpkin patch, providing gourds of fun for students at Public School 230 as they embraced fall with a harvest festival.

The inaugural salute to Mother Nature transformed the schoolyard, One Albemarle Road, into an outdoor playpen of golden delights for students and staffers, who joined festive forces to decorate the orange beauties during an afternoon of special activities, which also included arts and crafts, games and carnival-style rides.
