Allstate Agent Sandy (Hwei-ching) Hsiao was named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company’s New York Region for awarding a $1,000 grant to a local youth program.

Hsiao, whose office is located at 62-21 Eight Avenue, donated the grant to The Fan Yin Chinese School at Western Buddhist Association of Brooklyn. The donation will be used for The Fan Yin Chinese School’s goal of providing classroom space and support for local Chinese and non-Chinese speaking children to learn the Chinese language and culture.

“As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Brooklyn community every single day,” says Hsiao. “It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to Fan Yin Chinese School and hopefully touch the lives of the youth who are involved.”
