Bloody hairy

Roughed rider

Someone roughed up a 38-year-old man as he exited the Bay Ridge Avenue subway station on Sept. 3.

The victim told cops he walking out of the R train station, which is between 68th and 69th streets, at around 7:30 pm when the suspect came from behind, pushed him to the ground and grabbed his wallet.

The thief then fled up Fourth Avenue, grabbing $50 out of the wallet before dropping it into the street.

Gross necking

Someone snatched jewelry off of an unsuspecting woman as she sat in front of her 84th Street home on Sept. 1st.

The 72-year-old victim told cops she was sitting in a beach chair on her front porch, between Fourth and Fifth avenues, at around 5 pm when a man walked up to her. Before she could react, the thief reached out and grabbed the $250 chain from around her neck before fleeing up 84th Street.

Bling blung

Someone broke into a 77th Street home on Sept. 1 and stole a lot of bling.

The 44-year-old owner of the home, which is between First and Second avenues, said he left the place at around 7 pm. When he returned just three hours later, someone had broken a basement window and made off with various pieces of gold and diamond jewelry.

Reasonable discourse

Paul Kelly from Bay Ridge/Ft. Hamilton says:
The popular 5th ave. niteclub is a sleazy dive and this is not the first time the nypd have responded to a fight or other bull—— going on at that location. When do you start calling a dive/joint a niteclub? Ask any of the neighbors what they think of the place. The fun usually starts around 2 til closing and the noise & mutts coming & going really are a pain in the ass. P.K.
